At present, problems regarding environmental pollution and global warming are increasing and threatening our lives more and more every day. Off-road vehicles like tractors establish a significant part of this problem. TÜMOSAN, having high social responsibility and environmental conscience, has achieved better values beyond the existing emission standards applied in our country in order to prevent this problem and has considerably decreased harmful exhaust emission values in TÜMOSAN tractors. Target of TÜMOSAN, supporting sustained development, is to catch up with European and North American standards within near future. TÜMOSAN has followed a method contradictory to the existing applications by R&D studies performed by the cooperation of Istanbul Technical University (ITU) - OTAM within the framework of university & industry cooperation and has developed a more environment-friendly, more powerful and economical, less noisy engine running with different fuels by a special combustion chamber design, pending for its international patent, and without making any changes in the construction of an engine. A new MR-2 Combustion Chamber called MR-Proses has been developed as a result of theoretical and experimental studies, carried on for more than 45 years under the supervision of Prof. Dr. R. MEHDIYEV regarding internal combustion engines, furnishing the diesel engine with multi-fuel feature in addition to high performance, economy and low emission values and necessary application for Turkey patent has been made in the name of TÜMOSAN-R.MEHDIYEV. TÜMOSAN continues to meet expectations and demands in the best and fastest manner.
