Accessibility Statement

TÜMOSAN makes every effort and invests in many resources to provide equal, respectful, accessible, and professional service to all our customers. In accordance with regulations ensuring the equal rights of Persons with Disabilities, significant efforts and resources are expended to make the necessary accessibility adjustments to ensure that a person with a disability receives services provided independently and fairly to all customers.

Within the scope of the United Nations (UN) Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which it signed in 2008, Turkey stated that "the importance of access to the physical, social, economic, and cultural environment, health and education services, information and communication will be recognized in ensuring that people with disabilities fully benefit from all human rights and fundamental freedoms."

In the article titled "Accessibility" (Article 9) in the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, it is provided as follows:

“To enable persons with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in all aspects of life, States Parties shall take appropriate measures to ensure to persons with disabilities access, on an equal basis with others, to the physical environment, to transportation, to information and communications, including information and communications technologies and systems, and to other facilities and services open or provided to the public, both in urban and in rural areas. These measures, which shall include the identification and elimination of obstacles and barriers to accessibility, shall apply to, inter alia, the following.”

Website Accessibility:

In its simplest form, an accessible website is a website that enables disabled people as well as the elderly to browse the site with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as all users.

The basic principles regarding the accessibility of websites are covered in the ISO/IEC 40500:2012 standard and WCAG 2.0 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines). The WCAG 2.0 guide consists of 61 internationally applicable criteria determined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The 61 criteria determined consist of 3 levels: Level A (25 criteria), Level AA (13 criteria), and Level AAA (23 criteria). Level A principles include the standards expected to be met at the basic level, Level AA principles cover the standards that are recommended to be met; and Level AAA principles cover the standards that are ideal to be met.

TÜMOSAN believes in and strives to create equal opportunities on the internet for people with various disabilities and those who use assistive technology for computer use. Accordingly:

  • This site meets the requirements of the rights of disabled people determined by laws and regulations.
  • Accessibility adjustments are based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 for AA level online content accessibility.
  • The site is periodically optimized for viewing in common browsers and mobile phone use.
  • We offer you a WIDGET for features such as screen reading, contrast settings, and font settings. With this WIDGET, you can browse our website even without screen reading software. Apart from this, we recommend using the latest NVDA software for the best browsing experience with display software.
  • If there are sections of the site where you have accessibility problems, you can contact the accessibility coordinator whose contact information is given below.
  • Accessible format - The company provides its customers with the opportunity to receive information in accessible formats. The accessibility of the information is free and aimed at people with disabilities. Accessibility inquiries and information may be sent to the company's accessibility coordinator, whose information is listed below in this accessibility statement.
