22 September 2024

Since 1976, TÜMOSAN has been operating as a local tractor manufacturer in Turkey, and a collaboration protocol has been signed between TÜMOSAN and the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education for the “SEN YETER Kİ YAP” project. The project aims to enhance the skills of young people in the fields of science and technology, while increasing the synergy between education and industry. The technology competition, designed for middle and high school students, is now accepting submissions from young inventors with their innovative projects. Applications for the competition can be submitted until October 31, 2024, via the website senyeterkiyap.com.

On September 24, 2024, TÜMOSAN signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education to support young inventors and promote their projects to a wider audience. This collaboration aims to provide a platform for students to showcase their talents in science and technology, ensuring the project reaches more participants. Applications for the “SEN YETER Kİ YAP” project will be accepted through the website senyeterkiyap.com.

At the signing ceremony held at TÜMOSAN's headquarters in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul, the Istanbul Provincial Director of National Education, Murat Mücahit Yentür, emphasized the importance of a holistic approach to education, involving all sectors of society. He highlighted the significance of out-of-school learning environments and praised the collaboration with public institutions, local governments, and large national and international companies like TÜMOSAN.

TÜMOSAN's CEO, Halim Tosun, stressed the company's focus on R&D, noting TÜMOSAN's ranking among the top 100 companies in Turkey for R&D spending. He explained that the "SEN YETER Kİ YAP" project was launched to support young people in realizing their potential and achieving their dreams by creating innovative projects.

The competition, open to middle and high school students, will be held under three main categories: "Educational and Universal Technologies," "Accessible Technologies and Barrier-Free Life," and "Agriculture, Energy, and Environmental Technologies." Each category encourages participants to develop innovative solutions relevant to education, accessibility, and sustainability.

The competition offers cash prizes of 50,000 TL for first place, 35,000 TL for second place, and 25,000 TL for third place in each category, aiming to further inspire and encourage young inventors.

Through this partnership, TÜMOSAN and the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education are investing in Turkey’s future, fostering young talents and driving the country's progress in technology and industry. The “SEN YETER Kİ YAP” project encourages creativity and innovation, empowering the next generation of scientists and inventors.
