ENULAQ Enters Service with TÜMOSAN-Signed Indigenous Marine Engine

The marine engine developed by TÜMOSAN using domestic and national resources has entered the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces by being integrated into the Armed Unmanned Surface Vehicle (AUSV) ULAQ, produced by Ares Shipyard. Representing a significant milestone for the domestic defense industry, this development was introduced to the public during the “Naval Platforms Commissioning, Flag Hoisting and First Steel Cutting Ceremony” held at Istanbul Shipyard Command.
During the ceremony, held with the participation of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the locally developed marine engine by TÜMOSAN was also exhibited. The ceremony was attended by TÜMOSAN Chairman of the Board Ahmet Albayrak, Deputy Chairman of the Board Nuri Albayrak, and General Manager Halim Tosun.
Powered by domestic engine technology, ULAQ stands out as a strategic gain in enhancing national capabilities across naval platforms, while TÜMOSAN’s engineering infrastructure and technological development competence make a strong contribution to localization goals in the defense industry.
